Workshop Overview

Derived from ISO/FSSC 22000 Version 6, this course is tailored to provide Managers and Supervisors with essential knowledge of the requirements, facilitating behavioral changes within the manufacturing environment. Managers and Supervisors are empowered to act as food safety mentors, leading by example and showcasing optimal practices to their teams. To effectively fulfill this role, they need a comprehensive understanding of the rationale behind the regulations to grasp the broader significance of the requirements.

The course commences with a succinct overview of prerequisite programmes (PRPs) and further delves into simplified explanations of the Codex principles underpinning HACCP. Additionally, it covers various system elements crucial for supporting an efficient food safety and quality management system.

  • Understand the sources of hazards and contamination and how they can be controlled through effective PRPs.
  • Explanation of the importance of record keeping, competent staff, handling of non-conformances, corrective actions, internal audits and effective verification systems.
