Join our Food Safety Movement
It’s almost impossible to believe that we are nearing the half-way mark of the year. At the rate that time is flying, Christmas is just around the corner. But first, we need to get through the Winter!
Thank you for taking the time to read our Blog! It’s knowing that you are on the other side of this screen reading what we are writing that keeps us fired up on this end. It is also our mutual passion for food safety and management systems as well as the food industry in general that keeps us connected on so many levels.
As June spirals towards its end, so too does our World Food Safety Day promotion. For the 3rd consecutive year, we are offering our Online Basic Food Safety Training at the give-away investment of R100 per person. This promotion will only run until 30 June, so don’t end up living with regrets. Head over to our website right now and take advantage of this crazy offer. While you are at it, why not enrol your entire workforce – it’s self-paced, fun and can be completed on a PC, laptop or any mobile device (even your cell phone!).
While we continue to celebrate (yes, it is a celebration!) World Food Safety Day for the entire month, we are reminded once again how important food safety really is and more importantly, how important every single individual in our organisation is. Without the combined effort of every person without exception, the production of safe food would not be possible.
When we reflect on where we were a year ago, our Blog published on 22 June 2021, reminds us of the importance of values and how “talking the talk” means nothing if we are not “walking the walk.” (If you missed this one, head over to our website where you will find every single Blog we have ever published since June 2020 can easily be accessed.) I think we need cake – it’s Food Bites’ 2nd birthday!
Here at Progress Excellence, we are very serious about food safety but in a fun sort of way… It is a very serious concept, but we firmly believe that if we are not engaging our delegates and if they are not having fun, then they are not learning to remember. Our facilitators are experts in their fields and are not only technically competent, but every single one of them is also a trained facilitator for adult learning. We love what we do and we know that it shows.
The message we are trying to convey through our Blog this month is that food safety is not a theme or a toolbox talk that comes around once a year. It’s not something that is dusted off on World Food Safety Day or featured for a few minutes during annual induction training. Food Safety is a MOVEMENT. It’s a living, breathing and very alive aspect of our day-to-day life. Our objective is to use our training and communication platforms to promote this movement and bring more and more people who share our passion onboard. Join us by being an example to everyone around you every day…
Allow us to help you on this journey by utilizing our training courses as a platform to create more awareness about food safety in your organisation. Take a look at our upcoming workshops or contact us at email@example.com for any on-site training enquiries you have.
From the Food Bites Team until next month!
