Overview
This practical one-day course provides food safety professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively validate, monitor and verify food safety control measures. Through real-world examples and interactive exercises, delegates will learn how to demonstrate that controls for microbiological, allergen and physical hazards are scientifically effective, consistently applied and delivering the intended food safety outcomes.
The course includes a step-by-step approach to validation, covering validation methods, thermal processes, allergen controls, cleaning validation, metal detection, X-ray systems and other physical hazard controls. Delegates will also learn how to establish effective monitoring programmes, determine monitoring frequencies, develop verification plans and use verification results to drive continual improvement.
